For over three decades, Baja Vision Ministries has served children, families, and communities in Tijuana through Christ-centered compassion, practical support, and lasting partnerships.
A Christ-centered ministry. Every home we build is an act of love in the name of Jesus.
Our purpose is to reveal the love of Jesus Christ through tangible acts of service that restore hope and help transform generations. We build homes, support vulnerable children and families, strengthen local ministries, and create opportunities for spiritual, personal, and community transformation in Tijuana.
We don’t simply respond to immediate needs. We invest in the possibility of a different future.
Our mission, vision and values →“Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.”Psalm 127:1 · ESV
Baja Vision Ministries was founded in Tijuana in 1995 by Seyr’s father. Today Seyr carries that work forward as president, alongside churches and partners whose relationships with the ministry span many years.
My father founded Baja Vision Ministries in 1995 with a heart for children and families who needed hope. Growing up alongside this ministry, I witnessed what God could accomplish through one person’s willingness to serve.
Years ago, I watched my father, then 77 years old, working on the roof of a home we were building for a family in need. In that moment, I realized God was calling me to continue what He had started through my father.
Today, my desire is not simply to preserve his legacy, but to carry that same vision forward—building homes, restoring hope, caring for children, and sharing the love of Jesus Christ with those who need it most.
This ministry began in God’s heart, and I believe He is still writing its story. Our calling is to remain faithful, serve where others may not go, and help the next generation discover that their past does not define their future.
